Shawnea Tallman, BCCLC
Christian Life Coach
As CEO, Shawnea coordinates communications, partnerships, training, and field visits. She also serves as a Board Certified Christian Life Coach on the Clinical Team. Previously, she served in school district administration, and as a Fulbright Memorial teacher to Japan.
Michael Tallman, Psy.D. Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Tallman is a Licensed Psychologist with Post-Doctorate education and experience in Behavioral Health Psychology and Clinical Psychopharmacology. He specializes in marriage & family therapy, Christian oriented counseling, stress associated problems, health psychology behavioral medicine, pain management, chronic medical conditions, cognitive behavioral therapy, and adjustment issues.
Bonnie Benshoof, Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Benshoof is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Post-Doctorate Masters in Psychopharmacology. She specializes in adult & childhood anxiety and mood disorders, child & adolescent behavioral and developmental problems, trauma, behavioral health, stress associated problems and relationship issues.
Geoff Whiteman, Th.M.
Board Member
Geoff Whiteman is a Marriage and Family Therapist with a post-graduate Th.M. from Asbury Seminary. His thesis research, Missionary Resiliency, is rolling out at ResilientMissionary.org. Geoff currently serves in member care at the Orthodox Christian Mission Center. He is married to Kriss, also an Asbury grad, who has a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies.
Reverend Rurel Ausley Board Member
Rev. Ausley is the Lead Pastor of Crosspoint United Methodist Church. Aside from leading a large multi-campus church, he has been very involved in the Democratic Republic of Congo. During his trips to Africa he has helped to train pastors for leadership; and Crosspoint has built 30 churches and two parsonages.

Rev. Ausley serves as the Minister of Crosspoint South Crestview Campus. Her roles include preaching, ministry to women, missions, congregational care, and prayer ministries. She is a respected author, and a valued spiritual advisor to The Soul Care Project.
James Whitworth, Ph.D.
Board Member
James Whitworth is an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida. Previously, Dr. Whitworth served as a clinical social worker in the US Air Force for 21 years. He is the former Chief of Air Force Family Research at the Pentagon and also worked three years as the Chief of Air Force Family Advocacy Operations and Research. Dr. Whitworth has presented and published research on trauma response recovery resilience, PTSD assessment treatment, family violence and building community capacity within military populations.
Jonathan Tallman
Board Consultant
Jonathan Tallman is an international Financial Advisor, and owner of The Tallman Group, LLC. He serves several local civic organizations, and is on the Board of two international ministries.
Jennifer Tallman, MSW, RSCW
Clinical Team Consultant
Ms. Tallman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She sees couples, individuals, children and adolescents, working with clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress-related issues, and life transition issues. She is currently on a family leave of absence.
Steve Hall, J.D.
Clinical Team Consultant
In addition to being an Attorney at Law, Dr. Hall is certified in Mediation offering support in this area to The Soul Care Clinical Team. He also serves on the Board of Grace Rides, a Christian non-profit serving individuals with special needs.
Thomas McKnight, M.D., MDiv, M.P.H,
Clinical Team Consultant
Dr. McKnight utilizes his medical, pastorial, and public health training to provide consulting advice to The Soul Care Clinical Team. In addition, he has supported ministry in Haiti for over 25 years, including coordinating crisis medical immediately following the Earthquake of 2010.
